iron maiden solos

Hi i luv soloing but just cant get the right tone i hav been listening to iron maiden and the solo in number of the beast is awsome the first section has an amazing tone bt i cnt seem to get it cud sum1 plz tell me if they no wot t is is there a pedal of sumthing plz help thanx in advance
