Changing the neck?
Hi , i'm just new to the site and looking for some info. I have a peavey predator guitar which ive had for a few years and although it isnt the greatest guitar i couldn't let go of it, thing is i want to change the neck, It is a bolt on so i know its possible but could anyone tell me the general process involved and what i need to look out for? thanks

You will need to be sure that the new neck is made for a Peavey Predator body. The neck must fit the pocket in the body, so that it lines up with the bridge and the scale length must match up exactly, so that it will tune accurately.
In other words, you can't just go out and buy a Strat, SG, or Tele neck, and hope it will work. There are several companies (like Warmoth) who make parts for customising guitars. Do your research before you buy.
