Hi, I'm new to this site, and I think it's great. I'm a 42 year old guy who loves the guitar. I enjoy guitar music that ranges from Joe Satriani to Acoustic Alchemy. I have always been interested in playing, but never had the discipline to become good. Recently, I have found a renewed interest in learning to play. Any advice on learning how to play the right way would be welcome. I am probably alot older than most people in this forum, but I have an open mind and a willingness to learn.

Take Care

Wellcome to the board.
I love being able to casually talk to people here who would otherwise, in real life, make me feel inclined to calling them "Sir" with my hands neatly clusped at my back.

Welcome, and by the way you're old enough to be my son. Passion to play is all that matters here.

Well you've certainly come to the right place. Check out the instructor tutorials for some suberb instruction.
