amps

i have a crate 8 inch amp now but it always seems that when i play a lower note the bass gets all fuzzy. i am looking to upgrade my amp does anyone have any ideas on an inexpensive amp (under 300) that has good quality and maybe either 10 or 16 inch?

My advice is to save up your dough and look for some pro gear. Look around and play everything, use your axe and effects and play the amp for at least fifteen to twenty minutes. Play every style that you can think of, if the amp doesn't sound to your likeing then move on to the next.
You will find one that you really like, and it will be easy to save for it cause you want it so bad.

If you're just starting out and are happy with the tone then go ahead and check out some of Crate's combo amps (2x12). Try to find used gear if you can't find anything in your budget.
