I read in some business magazine article that sending text on mobile phones isn't such a rage in America, but here in Kenya, and mainly due to the cost factor (sms's are cheape than calls, depending), it's all the rage. Then to save on length, and hence money, people decide to put to practice the summary writing skills they acquired in high school English classes. The results are disastrous.
