well i'm new here for one and i'm hoping that it will help me get a bit better on my guitar. i've been teaching myself for about 8 months now and i'm not doing to bad. i think the biggest problem right now is i can only play bits and pieces of songs (on my electric i mean). But on my accoustic i'm having a hard time because i can't play barre chords because i had an incedent growing up and i have glass in my index finger joints. so i'm using power chords right now but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas to make it a bit easier for me?

I second that, even if you don't like country. Check out Terry's tricks.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.
