play-back help

Many of the stock software available have the option to slow down a piece of music without altering the pitch,however most of them don't work very well, ie: Windows media player. do you have or do you know of any digital software plug-in or stand alone application that will do this and still maintain a resonable sound quality.

My experience with this was a cheap of outboard device...cant remember the name of it unfortunately But I bought it at Guitar center in Detroit. No messing around with software and computers. you just pluged in .....like a cheap stomp box.. and played it back .. worked great
