Strange buzzing after string change

I just changed the strings on my strat, I've only done it myself a couple times, so i didnt do the best job. Now all of a sudden The top 2 strings buzz while im fretting, i can play them open with no problem though... I think it might have something to do with the strings buzzing agains the fret right after the one thats fretted for example, If I was playing the low E string with an A note or fret 5, the 6th fret would be buzzing, but I could be wrong. Please help!

no, string guage is 9-42 stiill.
When I got my strat the strings were very close to the fretboard and I really like it that way, so I dont understand why they would be buzzing now and not before
thanks

I think that you need to look at the guitar set up.
As the guitar is made of wood it will be effected by atmospheric moisture, expanding in the summer and contracting in the winter.
This means that your guitars set up will need to be tweaked twice a year. Changing strings probably allowed the wood to contract a little further, causing the fret buzz.

How is the guitar stored or placed when you are not playing it? Also, which model Strat is it and where was it manufactured?
Did you change to a drop-D or 1/2 step down tuning?

I once thought a "Sweeping Arpeggio" was an Italian janitor.
