Slave?

I have heard that SRV used a slave amp, WtF is a slave amp. I asume
that is an amp that is used as a power amp for a smaller amp like a Dano or Supro. Any info will be appreciated.

A slave amp is a power amp that is driven by another amp. Not necessarily a small amp though. A lot of Ampeg amps have a preamp-out and a power-amp-in jack for tying a pair of amps together so that the 'master' preamp drives both power amps. I'm sure other marques offer this feature too.[/font]
