Whats your favorite band to play songs from, my choice is Amon Amarth by far. Im so happy vecause finally I'm able to play most of the songs of my favorite band! Their riffs will get stuck in your head for days. Slayer is pretty fun too.

Fav songs:
Victorious march
Friends of the suncross
Death in fire

Bush is a good band to cover. Their music isn't technically complex, but most of their songs are pretty fun to play.

I played a lot of Bush and Everclear when I was starting out and I attempted to play metallica and Pantera.

All time fave for me would have to be Fade to Black. Another one I really love to play is that opening song from the Movie Spinal Tap, Dont know what its called, Tonight were gonna rock it... or somthing. Great flick!

'Black Star' from carcass has a really fun riff...perfect for testing the gain channels 'chunk and puch' on any amp.

Children of Bodom (I can fake it well enough), Avenged Sevenfold, Alice in Chains (especially the Unplugged album on the acoustic as of late), Zebrahead, Atreyu, Lostprophets...

And don't laugh, but I've been playing Blink182's Enema of the State lately. I know it's relatively easy, but its still fun!
