Man the best thing to do is to spend a day or two visiting some guitar stores and play as many as you can. It is, sometimes a good idea to leave your bank cards at home that day as you are wanting to find guitars you like not bring one home.

Then go check out the ones you think you liked and get the best one.

The www can be a good price guide but unless you know what you are looking for it can just be confusing.

Same with amps.
