I don't know at what level you are in your playing. I too had wanted to find some "patterns" in strumming because I was trying to play a different style. I am a classical fingerpicker trying to play rythem (check out the thread "would appreciate someone to share"). So, I already understood timing and could keep a beat, I just wanted to be able to strum more elaborately and without having sheet music with all the quarter notes, halfs n such spelled out thought I couldn't figure out what I should do... If your new to playing guitar, there are some good tutorials on this site about strumming to get you into understanding how to keep a beat with example strumming patterns (sorry, can't remember which one)...
As far as trying to find some songs that give the strumming patterns. Good luck on that one. Most people only put up the chords or tabbed out solos, etc. It's up to you to be able to hear from the music what the rythem is playing... I suggest doing what I had to do (and still do). Find a song you like and play it as loud as you can so you can "feel" that beat. You'll find at first you might just hear when the chords change. Then eventually the rhythem within the song and play right along with it. And by all means MOVE yer body, don't stand still... The more you move and the more you let that beat take you over, the better the rythem is(at least for me it is). I have actually been told to my embarrassment that I dance when I play (ok guys, no wise cracks ;) )
Anyways, for what it is worth... those are my suggestions
