I walked into samash with my mind set on trading in my Digitech GNX4 for the POD XT Live and was shown this monster. This thing won me over in about a minute. It lacks a usb port, but the tone makes up for it in spades.
AWSOME piece of equipment!....

now I'm broke for the month.

Very soon...thankyou for the intrest(now I'm gonna play extra hard, just for you!)

Actually I have a monitoring problem.I'm going direct to my sound card(with a 1/4th inch to 1/8th inch converter).

When I try to record a second track, the first one is recorded with it(and causes a phasing sound).I can mute the first track, but then I have no reference.

Could it be a latency problem ?
These things are sometimes easy to cure by reducing the buffer size the card uses.

No,theres no latency.

I just can't listen(monitor) to my first track while recording a second without having it record the first track.

time for a new sound card dude !!!

A 50 buck soundblater will sort you out. Not the best but it will let you overdub.

open your volume control (looks like a little speaker in your control panel, or system tray), and go to options / propterties / click record, and make sure that only the mic or line in (whatever you're connecting to) is selected. Hope that helps.
