My guitar doesn't have that dip on the end of the bridge area, so if I had a Floyd Rose on it, it wouldn't be able to dip backwards; only towards the neck like a normal tremolo.

Would it still work on my guitar ? just not backwards? Or should I take it to a guitar specialist and have a whole drilled so it can dip backwards?
