1) Reading notes is a simple process, but it takes a lot of time to get good at for gutiar(other instruments it's much easier). I suggest you find a classical guitarist and ask them to teach you the beginning of music notation reading.

2) the pinky-this takes time. When learning something watch your hands and when you see something your pinky can do and will prolly be better for. Then use it and work on it.
