I have a Peavey Bandit 112, it was used when I got it but in great shape. It has an awesome warm tone and great reverb, but for some reason when I plug it in sometimes it makes a noise like feed back, but not feedback. I'm playing with my Jackson DXMG on it. Anyone know what is goin' on?

The only guess I would have is that you need to adjust your pick up height. If they are too close to the strings they will tend to squeal. Also, maybe trya noise gate.

Note that this is only a guess as I am not that technical with guitars.
