Ok, so I just bough a Jackson DXMG and it is awesome...I love it, but for some reason the volume knob like shorts or somthing when you turn it up. You can hear it crackle and sometimes when you get it all the way up the volume level starts to flucuate rapidly...then I tap the knob a few times and its fine. This might not be anymore than an annoyance right now but when I start doin' gigs its gonna look @$$. Anyone know whats goin' on?

Both of you should replace those pots immediately! If those are new guitars, it should be done under warranty at no cost to you.

If you bought it new, take it back to the shop you bought it from. Any authorized dealer can handle it, but you'll need the original receipt.

Send them an e-mail about it, and see what you can get them to do to make it right.
