Hi, my friend has a Hamer, slammer series, Centaura, but apparently one of his friends thought it was wise to open up and expose the wireing. Things went bad and now there are wires everywhere.

i was wondering if anyone has the wire diagram for a stock hamer slammer series centaura, 95-00' model.

the set up is HSS, it has 1 volume and 1 tone control with a 5 way switch

Check out the tech support section on the Seymour Duncan website, they have alot of generic wiring diagrams and the H-S-S, 1 vol, 1 tone & 5 way should be there.

That's the most useful configuration, in terms of offering the most switching options. A 4-wire humbucker brings both ends of both coils out for connection to your circuit. You can do Series/Parallel, coil-tap, or coil-splitting.

A 3-wire humbucker has a wire from one end of one coil ('in'), another one from the other end of the other coil ('out'), and a wire from the connection between the coils. This allows you to short out one of the coils, leaving a single-coil pickup. This is called a coil-tap connection.

The simplest configuration is a 2-wire setup, which just has the 'in' and 'out' wires of the coil connections.
