what's wrong with my pickups?
I have fender stratocaster and I have a problem with my pickups.When I play with distorsion they start to produce really annoying sound but it is not a feedback.Can anyone please tell me what's wrong,do I have to buy new pickups or what should I do?

It's probably the annoying hum that is produced by most single coil pickups when distortion is applied......Is it a hum?

Get yourself a set of hum-cancelling pickups. Pretty much all pickup companies make them.
If you want real balls in a single coil slot I recommend Seymour Duncan's strat-sized twisted tele or Dimarzio's Fast Track 2.

That hum will always be there. A noise suppressor (noise gate) may help a little, but other than that, getting new pickups is the only answer. Lace Sensor pickups sound really good to my ears....
Since we're on the subject, that's how humbuckers got their name. Two single coils put together cancel out the hum, hence the name humbuckers.....
