If I were to replace the stock pickups in my Mex. Strat, what is a good upgrade? I'm looking for a fat sustained blues sound. Seymour Duncan has a neat thing online where you can listen to the different pickups in all positions but I don't really know how they might sound in the mex. strat. I liked the duckbuckers. Anyone use them? Texas specials? I want to fatten and warm up the strat tone but not lose the natural sound, the wet springy snap of the strat.
