Hybrid Slinkys and find them to be very dependable.....I used to use Fender Bullets and really liked the bright tones but (like I said), I've been using the "orange" hybrids and have had no problems......Side note: I pretty much beat the phuckin' schit outa my strangz and change them every 2 weeks or less.....Once the Slinkies are broken in, they stay in tune NICELY :)...I hope this helps......
