The biggest (old school) Death Metal head I know doesn't count Cannible Corps as his favorite band, he cites The Urge (who had a lot horns and upbeats in their music). It took him a few years, but eventually he realized "hey, this Ska stuff isn't so bad" and the fact is, his life is richer for it.

So as you get older, you see there's more to a lot of what's out there than you first thought.

Next, you learn when it is and when it isn't worth your effort or appropriate to argue about what you think is good and what you think isn't: I can't stand to listen to Linkin Park -- so what? That isn't what this thread is about, so not only would I be wasting my effort to expound upon that fact, I wouldn't even be on-topic.

Dude, The Urge rocks! They're from St. Louis, not to far from me, and there not really even big around here as they should be. Catchy music for sure.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.
