hey bro,

glad we've got another line 6 fan around here. I've been playing line 6 for 4 yrs.

I dont have the uber metal but I am saving up for that sick POD xt live thingy,

Its supposed to be great for recording and gigging....

Whats so special about the uber metal?? is it a single pedal for distortion or a unit???
I've got about 1000 in line 6 stuff, an amp, foot switch, and delay rack effects, :D its all good stuff though.

I was considering either this uber metal, the boss mt-2 metalzone, or the digitech death metal... can this pedal really put the heat on? and I mean like REALLY, is it like death metal hard or not?

1000 of Line 6 gear wow Re2 well this uber pedal is a single unit distortion pedal, I too was looking to get the xtLive but I have had those types of floor units and they are awesome but for me personally when playing live I dont want to think about the patches and this and that I want just a great dirty and clean sound very simple setup that works for me and doesnt distract me from the music, that or perhaps my feet are too big like frankenstein lol.but the xt Live was on my mind first tho for recording and editing tho you cant go wrong with that unit as ive researched it too.let me know when youget it to see how you like it and stuff..

hey 6 Strings Id say get the Uber metal instead of mt2 I owned the boss and before this one came out Mt2 was the best for a fat metallic tone, you are limited to that tho,if metal is all you play then its agood buy too, but the uber is more versatile on the distortion I got a great vintage sound and a even greater fat MT2type distortion, and plus the uber has the noise gate which helps alot too, Id recommend the uber over Mt2 anytime..hope that helps..Ill post my settings for you if you Get the Uber, you wont be dissapointed brother! I could never justify the price of randalls.Anything over $800 better have a tube in it.

I was considering a randall cyclone at one time,but...meh...I got tube fever(which still hasn't been cured).

Even Dimebag, shortly before his passing, fell in love with tube amps(Krank amps...Wouldn't mind one of the revolutions myself).
