Im about ready to go get a new amp for my apartment - very excitng. Im about 80% sure that I'll be going for a Pro Jr. cuz it fits all my criteria better than any amp that Im aware of. This would be the first tube amp I've owned! I just wanted to make sure that Ive covered all my bases and there's no other amps Ive forgotten about. Pro Jr is:

apprx. $300
15 watts through a 10" speaker
2 power and 2 preamp tubes

i like the concept of only having a tone control cuz of its simplicity. SO, if you think theres something better out there, speak now or forever hold your peace! ;)

I would look at the Blues Junior.. It opens up a few possiblities.

so i went with the Pro Jr. and couldnt be happier. but it sounds like theres a rattling coming from a tube? Ive heard about fenders amps being shipped with crappy tubes, anyone experienced a similar problem?
