hey everyone...

I currently have a jackson with a floyd rose tremolo.

when I play my guitar, it seems the harder i push down my strings the pitch changes. I dont know if its because of my fret size or tightness of my tremolo.... how bout some help!! :D

Your trem setting has nothing to do with it. You're applying way too much pressure with your fretting hand!

are you bending the strings? be sure you are pushing the strings straight down and not bending them

It's the fret size !
The pitch you get with the lightest touch (that doesn't cause buzzing) is the right pitch , unless your guitar needs intonation setup ... Try getting used to lighter touch on the frets , or get a guitar with small fretwires.

Yeah

I've been playing guitar for about 6 yrs, and for about 5 1/2 of the 6 yrs I've had the same crappy 140 dollar guitar called a "hondo". I just bought a jackson pro series firestrom for 500 bucks. So I may need to devote some time into getting more used to it..

Thanks for the4 help guys
