this may or may not have been posted before, but the other day the b string on my Ibanez JS100 snapped. so i thought, just as with the other strings the change would be the same, as i've done plenty of times before. so i put the srting on, the same gauge as the others but i notice that wen i tune back up, the floating bridge has pulled up to far. so i increased the pressure of the springs at the back to counter act it. the bridge floats fine, but now the low e string constantly goes out of tune, even wen everything is locked. what do i do to solve this?

i streched b the string completely, but when i lock the nuts on the neck and on the bridge the low e string just detunes itself? :(

I don't understand what cause would that be , but a trivial solution is to tune the e-string a bit higher , and it's bridge screw a little loser , so that when it detunes , it finally reaches the right pitch.

I've just got another idea , take the e-string off from the bridge , and put it in again ... May be the e-string was slipping in a small rate from the bridge.
