I have a fender standard stratocaster, a 50 watt Line 6 Spider, Line 6 PodXt with the Fbx footcontroller. I was wondering how other people feel about Line 6 Gear, tone quality and so on. I personally love the way my gear sounds but the stuff is so damn expensive. Ive got 2000 dollars sunk in already and now I want a bigger amp. :) Anyways let me know what you think.

uh...you sunk $2000 into a 50watt spider,podxt and floor controller?Or do you mean ALL your equipment?...anyway.

I played a spider 2 combo and it was so-so.I played the vetta 2 combo and was supremley dissapointed.I have no idea how well it works for direct recording, but have heard good things.

You really can't fake tube sound/response so they dont do what some people(me included)would like them too.However...if you want an insane amount of sounds/tones then the stuff is great.

If you need a bigger amp, then get a decent mid to high range priced head and cab(like a marshall, peavey, mesa e.c.t.)Or you could get a power amp for your pod and hook up to a cab.
Try once,fail twice...
