Just got started....again

hey everyone!
I'm a newbie to this site and i just wanted to say hi :)
In the summer I woke up one day and decided I wanted to learn guitar so a week later a bought a Fender DG-7 accousitc and well tried to teach myself guitar. After about a month I pretty much stopped playing but now I am trying to get back into it again.
I dont have the time or really the money to get guitar lessons so I was just wondering if anyone could give me some good pointers on how to get started and how to stick with playing guitar.

You should learn the major chords first and a scale or two. Practice strumming these chords and changing from one chord to another. You would be suprised how many songs are made from three or four chords. Practice, Practice, Practice. Learning to play well takes time so if you get frustrated take a break.

Yeah im trying to work on chords and stengthning my fingers. I have really small hands so I am hopeing that they will become more flexible over time
