I was installing a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck of my Ibanez, and something horribly went wrong. These pickups are single conductor pickups, and had one main wire, and 1 thin wire coming out which I assume is the groung. Well, about 5-inches pulled out. I carefully unraveled the braided layer of the wire down about 6 inches, and still couldn't find the end of the wire...

Somebody please help me!

Well honestly...what possible force is getting you to unravel a wire from a pickup is beyond me. The company gives you the wires needed...they don't expect you to start searching for wires inside of the pickup...
