Blues Distortion Effect Setting

Hey guys whats up...i was juss wonderin if any 1 can help me with some blues distortion settings...i have an Digitech RP100 pedal...id appreciate any help u guys can give me..thanx

I think that your pedal is too digital for playing blues,but if you wanna play blues and have the real sound for it,get yourself Ibanez Tubescreamer(TS-9).

I would have to say 99.9% of blues sounds come from overdriven tube combo amps. On your pedal, which I am not familiar with, set the gain(overdrive) low and put the volume high. This will give more of an overdriven sound than distorted sound.

For example, on my Tubescreamer I set the level at 12 o'clock, and the drive at 7 or 8 o'clock.
