Jerry Cantrell
I think he's one of the most underrated/unappreciated guitarists out there. Also a damn good singer/songwriter. Im suprised that i never see his name mentioned around this forum. whats everyone else think about Jerry & AIC?

I'm a pretty big fan of Jerry's work, myself.
I have a lot of trouble figuring out why so many people seem to hate Boggy Depot... it's a great album.

Jerry is awesome. He was one of my main influences starting out, and he still is a real inspiration to me. Boggy Depot was an awesome album too. I really hope AIC don't go through with this reforming thing I've been hearing about though. It just wouldn't be AIC without Layne.
No matter where you are, that is the beginning.

Jerry, Sean and Mike Inez have jammed together and are discussing playing together again, which I'd love to hear any day.
I haven't heard anything about calling it "Alice in Chains."

I love Jerry's playing and style. I also agree that he is a very good singer/songwriter. True enough, Layne was the voice(sometimes) of AIC, but wasn't what made AIC sound like AIC. I heard a solo album of Jerry and was like hey, its AIC. That's when I realized who made AIC AIC.
