I strongly disagree, the way Hendrix voice and guitar became one, Hendrix's badass chord inversions, his creativity, his phrasing, his song writing, etc. SRV just doesn't come close

don't get me wrong, I love SRV, and he was an amazing player, but he wasn't Hendrix, and I think he would even agree to that if you asked him
