Well, I won't delete this (can't speak for the other mods, though), however, I will say that saying "hey, check out my site" or "here's a cool site that I write/edit/collate for" is usually better and more appealing than saying "hey, check out this wicked site that I have absolutely no affiliation with, I just randomly sign up for forums and let the world know that I love this other site with which I have absolutely no affiliation".
... and that's all I have to say about that.
