Does anyone know a correct method for streaming MP3's on the internet?
I've search Google etc... but the closest description I can get is to make a small text file with a link in it. Save the file as an m3u file and supposedly, when somebody clicks on it, they're forwarded to your MP3 files so that it streams.
Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to work on a Mac computer.
I'm reluctant to use Real Audio cause the sound quality sucks....
Preferably, I'd like to just make all my files accessible as streaming audio only.
Any ideas what steps I need to take? (Like is it possible to just make my present MP3 files into 'streaming files' rather than redoing them?
(and make it simple baby talk in detail, cause one sentence tech talk replies drive me nuts)
