The proof of the pudding is in the eating. If a box works for some players, it doesn't mean that it is going to work for you, and vica versa. In this particular case, the names do not sound familiar. Most ads are written only to sell the products. So, be careful, find out the return policies, and charge your purchase to your credit card -- if there is a dispute, your credit card company will back you up.
But the best way to make a decision is to go to your local music store, bring your guitar (effects will sound different with different gear!), and try all the boxes they have.
Then start negotiating. In most cases the store will match the price to Musician's Friend or other online retailers.
If they don't -- buy online.
