I have an epiphone G400 (SG) and i was wondering is there a way to put a decent tremelo system on it i would love to be able to dive bomb etc. I love the sound of the Sg but i would like the added versatility of a tremelo arm. Any ideas???

Yes that is possible, and with minimal alterations to your guitar...take it to your local tech and he/she will be able to run you through the various options, prices and procedures.
