A spider 2 is pretty good for what it is designed for. It designed to be VERY versitile. It got a some good tricks in its bag, but none are great. It gots the pros and cons of a solid state amp and its faithful to its emulations. Something to consider when u play a wide style of music on a budget but i would never go solid state again...well maybe if i was fed up with the upkeep invovled with tubes but that may not happen :) . Its a good product you wont waste your money.
