[font=trebuchet ms]I know what that feels like. I only use a wah (Dunlop JH-1) and an overdrive pedal (Boss OD-1) anymore, and I use those sparingly. I like the sound of the Accutronics spring reverb tanks in my Ampeg amps, but I wouldn't use that in a studio.

Basicly, your rig makes your sound, and then you mess it about with time-based effects like flanging, chorus, echo, and reverb. Which means these effects should be introduced after the speakers. So, done properly, all that stuff would be added at the sound console, working on the signal from a mic in front of your speaker cab.
