I have 8 pedals plus a channel switcher. I run modulation through the effects loop. I really care about where my pedals go in respect to the other pedals. Switches on my guitar. Tones. God, I'm becoming a tone freak..I have 2 compressors!!lol. I seem to just keep getting more pedals and stuff.

When I started I had a wah and an overdrive and I was like, thats it, no more pedals for me. lol

You think you have problems !!!

I am spending christmas ripping the nerve center out of my studio and replacing it with a G5 !

G5 : 3.3 K
Monitors (2x 19") 0.7 K
Logic Pro 7: 1k
Peavey 18 track desk 0.5 K

And the bill for the Bean-o is horrible !

bugger !

Hey Doc, you seriously need to go see a Dr. about that GAS of your's. You are completely out of control now. Is the misses even getting anything from you for Christmas, or have you exhausted your funds on GAS?

hmm i have nothing wrong with special effects, its just that i think you lose some of your own unquie playing with it to create "Factorized" sounds... but Matt from Muse uses a lot... and it sounds fine probaby just me then :o

I took it like he doesn't mind/have a problem with using effects eventhough they it hinder your own unique playing style when you turn it into a processed sound.

I didn't think it was that hard to understand.

You lucky dog. I wouldn't know what to do with a mac. I don't think I've ever even touched one.

PS: didn't mean for any of my previous post to sound harsh or anything

Well Im looking for a home for the PC (minus sound cards) and software at the moment.

It is a complicated story because of Sonar's draconian EULA however I think I will be letting then go at a ridiculous price.

Anyone interested should PM or email me.

Im probably going to let the d1200 go as well however I want to have a remote transport system in my hand and working before I do that and Im going to have to wait until I have payed off some of the visa bill before I set that up.

I hear that. I may be selling off some of my speakers and cabs in the near future.

Oh what the hell, its Christmas. 400 USD + shipping and the D1200 (+CDR and manual) is yours. If you want it, I will need a day or 2 (after Thurs 23 when the G5 arrives) to strip down and format the drive and then pack it up. Ill even throw in a USB cable.

www.korgstudios.com is also a brilliant resource. BillKath (Billy Edwards) is someone to watch out for. He is a very helpful and knowledgeable fellow. He is also a professional (and working) sound engineer.

If you want to to know any more about the D1200 (like the difference between the D1200 mk I and the mk II i.e. a lick of blue paint) there is a dedicated forum over their.
