Steve's 10 hour a day practise schedule

do you know where i can find Steve Vai's 10 hour a day practise schedule?

I don't know that is a really good question. I read about it in a Guitar World issue. I really hope someone can help.

Don't do someone elses guitar warmup's dude. Just take ideas and create something to fit your own style. If you check out his site he basically just tries to take simple things like the Pentatonic scale and bring them to the next level. It usually sounds something like, "So all you have to do is experiment with different inversions and string skipping that isn't common in most licks. Practice this and after about five hours or so, you really notice the difference in you playing,". Or you have people like John Petrucci who will categorize all the different techniques he uses and split them up accordingly based on how long he has to practice. Or you have people like me who only learn new things when they're in music classes or just driving down the road brainstorming. But when I practice I go through the scales, and chords I use a lot, and just jam 'til I drop dead.

Whats with a ten hour stint on the guitar. Your bloody hands would hurt more then a spoty 16yr old who was in love with his right hand!
Na, only joking if thats how dedicated you are then go... play!

Remember everyone.... to play the guitar does not involve skill, only a certain state of mind!

umm, all i have to say is that it involves a lot of skill.

I dont want to do Steve Vai's practise,
i only want to know what he did and how much time he spent on every technique just to get an idea, i know what i must practise myself but its good to know what someone like Vai did
