Whats the deal with these guys? Their official site, and fan sites, never have any decent news on them!

That blues album they released.. was that their "new album" or dya know if it was a sideline thing and they have a proper aerosmith one coming out?

I was reading in some forums that most fans think theyll never tour anywhere except the states and Japan. If thats true that sucks!

i know!!! all these older bands now never come out of america... its a real pain in the arse!
all they have to do is come over here and do a few shows, they'd sell out!!!
all the bands i want to see are the same : Van Halen are never going to leave america, or they will for a breif couple of days to go and make a few more millions in japan and ignore all us real fans in england!! guns n' roses (well Axl) never even bother to finish tours so they wont ever come.
GRRRR!
bitching aside though, i heard aerosmith may be coming (to england) in late 2005, but as they keep cancelling shows i'm beginning to doubt it.

Although I used to love them, I'd lost my interest somewhere around the armageddon. They feel like a second-hand chewing gum.

I've never found any Aerosmith song more than mildly interesting, and most of them are plain annoying and repetitive to me. Some friends and I have a little running joke where we sing an Aerosmith medley of Crazy, Amazing and Angel, mixing up all the words but keeping the same vocal melody.

Plus, Steven Tyler's singing really gets on my nerves.

Not long ago, I heard an Aerosmith song with Joe Perry on vocals; it was really good.

He should sing for that band more often.

i'm the same... i think they sold out a bit when they started doing crappy disaster film soundtracks.

i think the main problem is that now they're sober, all they seem to want to do are ballads and songs about "oh, weren't the old days rather good".

their older stuff (70's) is the more interesting stuff (mama kin, back in the saddle, toys in the attic). after that i think they were trying too hard to please a wider audience.

Aerosmith lost me at "Dude looks like a lady." That song is just weird, it makes me think Tyler likes men or something.

I only like "Dream On," "Crazy" (mostly because of the music video with Liv Tyler and Alicia Silverstone in it), and a few songs from the Permanent Vacation album..."Angel" and so on.
