Sup guys. Hey, I just wondered if anyone could offer me any suggestions on some cool bluesy sounding scales BESIDES the minor petatonic...

1 4 or its variations like 1 4
1 3 123
1 3 123
1 3 1 3
1 4 1 3 4
1 4 1 3 4

the bad part is my knowledge of theory is a bit limited, but if anyone could tab out a different "bluesy" scale or 2 for me, I would bow before you. Thanks in advance! - Josh

Did you check out my tutorial "Play Blues Lead".

Don't forget to check out the last lesson that deals with vibrato / sliding scales. I still need to add a lesson dealing with blue notes (kinda important for a blues playing tutorial) however as you seem to have those puppies in hand I guess this is not a biggy for you !
My instructors page and www.studiotrax.net for all things recording.

Thanks Doc, I have not checked out your tutorial, but I will do that!

Gotta LOOOVE the blues!

Toxic Shock Troopers would be my punk band name (if I was in a punk band) that all.
Metal band name would probably be either "The Virgin Deathride" or BLOODY DEATHY BLACKY CORPSE LICKER! (just a bunch of metal words, Im stupid)

Any way, thanks for the cool scales yall! I will try them out when I get home :)
