Bob Dylan- Queen Jane Approximately
The Band- Anything
Eric Clapton- Coccaine
And if you're looking for acoustic guitar stuff you don't get much better than Joni Mitchell- California
Bob Dylan- Don't Think Twice
Eva Cassidy- Woodstock

maybe you should check out some classical guitar stuff, John Williams and people like that. try Asturias and Recuerdos De La Alhambra. both are pretty good and suprisingly not that hard to play (i picked them up in a couple of days, and i'm really not that into acoustic stuff). another good (if slightly odd) acoustic song is Ride Forever, dont know who it's by.

otherwise
Let me entertain you -- Queen
Little wing -- Hendrix
Blue suede shoes -- Elvis
Honky tonk woman -- Rolling Stones
Dedicated follower of fashion/Lola -- the Kinks (both strumming songs)
I'm the one -- Van Halen
Black dog -- Zepplin
Elvis Lives (in my basement)

Axl, im a hugh fan of GnR, i even named my dog AXL, and i also but the velvet revolver cd, but to be honest when ever i listen to/play VR, it makes me dissapointed to slash is so much better then what hes doin. The reason GnR was so good cuz they were different, VR however is not different, there music is mundane, there cd is generic and nothing seems to bring it to the light. Weiland should thank his luckey stars that he found such talented musicians to play with and GnR minus axl should curse the day they heard signed weiland to a contract. With that said, i open the way for some harsh criticism...its hunting season boys.....

I totally agree too.... with the whole VR isnt Gnr etc... but its a decent album.. I enjoy listening to it and its better than nothing. And if VR didnt exist there would be nothing.

I still believe GnR will reform.

Why dont people who know axl just trick him into meeting up with Slash n co.

Because Axl rose is the worlds biggest dick head. I cant beleive i got a poster of that guy on my wall some where. Also im not gonna buy his GNR album when it comes out. The one thing i give VR is at least they tried and although they didnt succeed, they didnt fail, and at leat got an album out for the fans. Personally i like Slashs snakepit better then VR. I hope axl get the worlds biggest flop of an album and the longer he waits the bigger the flop its gonna be!

In terms of Audioslave, i actually like Audioslave and although RATM is better, the gap is not so noticable as GNR/VR.

Me too.
I just wanted to be able to read it easily from two feet away,
not from outer space.
Anyone ever heard any of those tunes I mentioned?
Any other comments?
