Will learning..
May sound stupid but.. Would learning rythem sections of songs help my lead playing in anyway if so what will it help me improve on?

I mean songs like nothing else matters i can play most the lead but would learning the rhythem part make my lead playing better

Sure it will help.
Learning the rhythm is going to engrain the feel of the song, which in turn will help your phrasing. They go hand in hand.
