Funamental changes in outlook towards life, so much so that if I'd had a gf before it happened, she'd have felt I was a completely different person, like she never knew me. Whether it was a change for the better or worse is not for me to say, but change I did.
For that reason, I wouoldn't go out with a chick who's still in her teens. Even if she acted 70. I'd wait for her to get to the point where if she was gonna grow up, she's done growing up.
16, I feel, is still to early to tell if she's done growing up.
And what I mean by being finished with the growing up, is stuff like deciding whether or not she'd want a dude to just hang out with, to marry, to go down on her once in a while, what. And a lot of other "life" issues.
But hey, if you guys are back together, and you're happy, and she's happy, then I guess it's all good. It's not for me to say otherwise.
All I can hope, for aXle's sake, is that she doesn't meet some dude in America (you said she going to America, right?), or even some some chick, and decide that this is what she's always wanted.
