cossman torture exercises

has anybody has heard of "cossman torture exercises". as far as i'm aware this technique if commonly used by cellist for speed, dexterity etc. i bring this up as it my be of some benefit to those of us who are digitally challanged??

I agree that it sounds interesing, but in my opinion to get speed or something else you have just to practice. Try something like take lessons and live for the guitar. If you take about 12 hour per day practicing with your guitar you'll certain be a monster, but if you don't have this time to sepend with your toy maybe 2 h/day can be very good...
