my bc rich mockingbird has that same problem.. it blows.. so one day i moved the strap button to the neck plate and it made it a little better.. it does take getting used to though.. also.. a thicker strap helps and wearing the guitar higher helps too.. even if you look like an idiot.. thats how its supposed to be
