how to play GHOST note

hey fellas can u help us out again. with tabs, if u get a () arnd a note, its a ghost note but how do u get that mad sound? ta

From the definition , a ghost note is a Partialy Articulated note. (doesn't make it any clearer , yeah ;) )
Normally, you should listen to the song and figure out how are you gonna make it sound (pick ,legato or whatever) , and how loud is it gonna be.

BTW , there are many standards in writing tabs , so finding a note between () doesn't necessarily means it's a ghost note ... Check the tab legend before playing.

The typical ghost note is played by just laying your finger down on a string where the fret is indicated, but without picking or plucking the string. There's enough sound there, the fact that it is so light gives it the name ghost note.
