Maybe a lot of the people voting on thses polls are kids that don't really know any better? Either way, i think most people that have their heads screwed on properly would agree that he was definately no virtuoso, but he was one of the most important musicians of the 90's.

yes he is, and to add on to the best guitarist thing, on a best guitarist countdown he got 12????? and satriani got 16?????? obciously they didn't know what they were talking about. Kurt Cobain was an awesome musician but not a extremely great guitarist.


and ya i agree about velvet revolver as the future of rock, they are one of the only bands right now that are like old 80s bands. they rock.
