Can someone recommend a good online store for music gear and instruments? (besides Musician's Friend) Ibanez gear is a must.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Yeah, Musician's Friend is crap. A friend of mine bought an amp there, and he had all sorts of problems with it. And they wouldn't let him return it or exchange it for something else.

Don't get me started about musiciansfriend (theirs an oxymoron if ever I have seen one), I have put thousands of dollars their way and will never shop there again !

Having delivered several tirades in several different forums, low and behold, I find that I am not alone !!!

Well, I have seen them open packets and sell off instructional videos etc separately, passing off open box for new, selling goods they know are iffy and there customer service is crap. Selling previously owned, scratched broken stock as new is not only fraudulent but really bad for customer relations !

They appear fine until something goes wrong and at that stage.... well they have your money and you are screwed !!

Consider also that in the last 3 years I have done about $20-30Ks worth of shopping on line !!

So sorry Doctor, I meant to respond saying that music123 is the only company I've ever used...

Thanks for the heads up on musiciansfriend though. Then again, they never seem to have anything I need...

No problem man, I am a bit jumpy when it come to MF and I don't want any GTers to get burned the way I did !!

Music123 are not bad I have only had one run in with them which was resolved quickly. I use them as my first choice at the moment at the moment.

Glad to hear you eventually got yer money back Doc. Thanks for the tipoff. Is it pretty safe to buy stuff off of ebay? Do they fix things if you get scammed?
